Scott L. Teter is the Division Chief of the Financial Crimes Division. The division also includes the Child Support Unit and the Elder Financial Crimes Unit. As a prosecutor, Mr. Teter created the second elder abuse task force in Michigan. He is a member of the Elder Abuse Task Force formed by Attorney General Dana Nessel and the Michigan Supreme Court. Mr. Teter trains for the Prosecuting Attorneys Association of Michigan on elder abuse and financial exploitation. He has also trained with the National College of District Attorneys, the American Prosecutors Research Institute, the National Advocacy Center, and the National Sheriffs' Association
